Synopsis

I thought that this challange was a great idea and i enjoyed testing my knowledge in the accounting feild.
Working alone i found the instructions for the task a little vague but i did my best to apply what i have learnt in my first few months of Accy 100 at the University of Wollongong.
I think that Medecines Sans Frontieres Australia is doing a great job helping out the needy and i wish them all the best in the future.

Very good for a first year student.

Keep up with these competitions and building your skills, have a look at past winners for ideas on presentation, formatting and content. All this experience will definently help you with your studies

Hi Lucy

Great work for a first year student, the report is very easy to understand.

We really enjoy to read your report, and good luck in your future accounting study...

Wow you really tackled the accounting side of the challenge, although it would have been good to consider some managerial strategies as well!
Great work otherwise!

Hi Lucy,
Your report is good as a first-year student. Balance scorecard is a good way to control the cost in each project. You mentioned it in consideration of independence and ethics of MSF. Could you give me a further explanation on it?
Thank you very much.

Thank you for your submission.
We were interested in your ideas around measuring "the quality of staff recruited and their experiences with Médecins Sans Frontières Australia". How do you think Médecins Sans Frontières Australia might be able to assess their performance against this measure?

Hi Lucy,

Well done on the inclusion of your accounting knowledge! I think now you need to clearly formulate some of those KPIs in addressing and measuring specifically the performance of the organisation.

I like the suggestions about management structures and staff rotation in increasing skills. Suggesting an external review or audit is always effective in assessing the independence and cost effectiveness of the organisation.

The inclusion of graphic breaks up the text effectively. The questions after each section are also effective in identifying to MSF what they should be asking themselves in improving operations and performance.

Well done and good luck with your continued studies.
